Nathan Hanley is the writer/artist/creator of Truth & Consequence. Nathan was introduced to comics in 1983 at the age of 8 when he and his brother walked into Atlantis Fantasyworld in Santa Cruz, California.

He has been drawing passionately since he was old enough to grasp a pencil, and began writing his first screenplay at 17. Although the road to “Truth & Consequence” has been a long one, it seemed inevitable he would end up here.

“For so long I wanted to be a comic book artist. I brought my stuff to Marvel when I was 16 and they said it was close, and to bring it back in a year. After that I started making indie movies with my brother and drawing became more of a hobby. Then I decided I needed to do Truth & Consequence, I had been thinking about it for a long time - and it just felt so natural to be drawing sequentially again, like I was coming back home,” says Hanley.

Hanley is also an independent film maker. His writing/directing credits include

Rehearsal (2006) and Table for Six (2010).

Truth & Consequence is his first graphic novel.

He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
